I had just landed in New York and it was snowing. The temperature was something I could not even understand, it was colder than any freezer I had back home. After living so long near the equator I realized that the coldest I had ever been in my life is what New Yorker’s call fall. I had to adapt quickly to survive and knitting scarves was one of the first things I did when I arrived at my new home. They are the warmest ones we make and they protect neck and face which are the most sensitive to the temperature or in this case, lack of temperature!
